I read this thread too, but it is a bad patch, since as soon as Arma patches the root cause, all servers with this patch will be broken. BIS / Arma team is planning to patch the death issue soon. We need to wait for the real fix from them.
See the note from Eichi in the 1st post of that thread:
EDIT Eichi: Be aware this is NOT a fix, but a workaround. This will break your server in case Arma updates.
