Its the vehicle ai. They have immunity to being run over and killed (they can only be knocked down). Something in the code is allowing them to remain immune to damage when being shot.

Just wana let you know that today we incounterd 3 roaming AI that were immortal on the Tanoa server. They thay were ingaged at les then 100m with 7.62 rifle taking several mags tell we ran off
