Good stuff! The only way I would extend the time is if donations force me to do so. So far, I have only had donations for Exile. I am very happy people have played on Epoch though, but it runs on power, hardware, software, my time on maintenance, etc., where I am the only contributor.
GG!

There are no donations from users happening to keep this server online.
On 1/31/2016, we will be switching this server from Epoch Altis to Exile Namalsk.
If the user count drops to no daily users, this server may be retired sooner and rolled to the new target type.

Nice idea… I am tied up in other projects at the moment and waiting to see what happens with the next release of some of these mods. Party.

Please read this link that has existed for 1 year and 3 months: https://moosepuncher.com/forums/topic/disclaimer/
That is the policy of these servers.
That said, if I find I have free time (rarely do), I may something for you… I cannot do this for players constantly because I don’t believe in it for survival games, even if the server crashes.…[Read more]

I set up a pvp / helo war at the trader last night after that crash where players could get helos and sell them. Your buddy you mentioned was there for this event, but I don’t recall you being there. Check with him. He probably got a bunch of money.

These server crashes are a real pain. I can’t wait until a fix comes through. Server back up…

The server crashed and required a manual reset. It’s back up. I am working in an automated work around for handling crashes. The crashes will happen until BIS fixes Arma.

Terd Fergasen started the topic Exile server stability – please read in the forum Arma 3 -> Exile -> Altis (Inactive server) 9 years ago
Since this server runs the Ryanzombie mod, it will crash, since Arma patch 1.54 has some major instability issues. Thank you for your patience while we continue to run this zombie system and wait for BIS to fix the game.

Hey Twombles- I made some updates to the database that may improve your login experience. Let me know when you’ve tested it and we’ll go from there.

I am trying to stay on top of these crashes, and restart the server. So far not super long times offline. If I removed the zombies, the server would not crash… The problem is, zombies add so much, so I don’t want to.

Update on: Game server crashes
I just witnessed a game server crash at the time of failure and think I have solved why it fails. This will be great moving forward!

Earlier there was an out of memory server error associated with the zombie mod. The error was corrected and the server reset.

Testing now, but players have been on all morning.
UPDATE: Yep. I can connect and play. All is working and players are still connecting and playing. Not sure what is happening where you can’t connect. Can you connect to other servers?
