Tonight, I spent some time getting A3XAI back up to par on the Tanoa server since no one was on that one… While testing, I noticed FPS can drop low, but it’s for a brief moment… Another issue is sometime AI can spawn in invincible. Irritating! I read around and saw others encountered this issue. I will see if I can fix it and roll this AI back…[Read more]

Thanks for the feedback. You are referring to A3XAI AI. I have tried to bring it forward to work, but it causes too much FPS loss on recent Arma builds. We have roaming AI, but it’s nothing like the AI you miss… I will continue to work on it.

also, it is very confusing when the server dies, because it shows player conversation and looks like the server is running fine. thanks for your patience!

well it’s a free server that i host out of the kindness of my heart, so i think we are all gonna live… 🙂

🙂 That’s an option, but some Arma updates contain bug fixes and new features, but sometimes major bug fixes. The other challenging part of never updating the servers is most people’s Steam will auto-update Arma… So clients may not be able to connect to the server that is running a different version of Arma. I’ll think about it and research it.

Great point! The rule of thumb is if the object or structure is a part of the map, AI usually cannot shoot or walk through it.

moosepuncher servers will continue to run ExileMod as long as it remains stable. Hopefully Eichi decides to either replace himself with a great lead Arma Mod developer, or he makes ExileMod open source, so many developers can continue his work at making the best Arma Mod ever developed.
